The UAB Football program is being shutdown. The reporter decided to share what the coaches said. He also said the future of the football program is very little. The football program is also bowl legible this year as they finished 6-6. They also are the first program to be disbanded since 1996.

I believe the football program should still be operating. The UAB college brings in enough money to keep it. Also they aren't even last in attendance for games they have almost 10,000 more people coming to their games then the last place team for attendance. The UAB team is being disbanded and petitions around the campus have started in protest of it.

Opinion
Kim's photo shoot with paper magazine was just wow. The photo's of Kim were taken from all angles and some without the black dress. The very sexual photos were all over the internet and social media. Kim even posted the skanky photos herself on her Instagram. The mother of 10 month old north west boasted about how "I bet you can't balance  a  champagne glass on your butt" on Twitter when the photos were released. Some would argue that the photos are not bad and that she can live how she wants. As a public role model for people all over you do not want to be teaching young kids that lookup to you, that it is ok. Kim is married with a child, she is not someone who should not be doing reveling shots for covers of magazines. The photos are not very kid friendly and should not be done by a mother. Paper released the magazine for there winter issue and has already had lots of controversy about wether this is appropriate or not. Some love it but most mothers and more conservative people are in disgust.

Summary
Have you heard about Kim Kardashian's nude photo shoot?? Well if you haven't heard about Kim breaking the internet let me tell you all about it. Kim shot for the cover and a spread in Paper magazine for the winter 2014 issue. The photo on the cover was of Kim balancing a champagne glass on her butt and her spraying champagne into it. Kim is very proud of the photos, she has posted two on social media. Kanye, Kim's husband even tweeted a photo with the words "#allday." Other than the cover there were more photos of Kim's bare butt and a nude picture of her front. The pictures are very interesting but if you like pop culture you would enjoy checking this out.

News Topic - Iron Bowl - Dillon Bell

Non-Biased
My topic was about the Iron Bowl. Most of the articles were about how alabama beat auburn and how Blake Sims broke some records, along with Amari Cooper and Nick Marshall. This Iron Bowl was the highest ever scoring points with 99 points. Nick Marshal threw for 456 yards breaking a school record. Amari cooper broke an Iron Bowl record with 11 receptions for 201 yards and three TDs.

Biased
I agree most with the article that says Alabama is the best team in the country. Alabama definitely proved that with the win over Auburn. I mean, how can a team win a game 14-7 one week and then 44-55 the next? Alabama has proved time after time that they are the best team, and they have the should be heisman winner, Amari Cooper.

Ryder Rohrbach: Amazon Kiva #5

Amazon rolls out Kiva robots for holiday season onslaught | Reuters

"promises to cut operating costs by one-fifth and get packages out the door more quickly"

"installed more than 15,000 robots across 10 U.S. warehouses, "

"Amazon has adopted technology developed by Kiva Systems, a robotics company it bought for $775 million in 2012."

"designed to help the leading U.S. online retailer speed the time it takes to deliver items to customers and better compete with brick-and-mortar stores,"

"avoid the mishaps of last year's holiday season, when a surge of packages overwhelmed shipping and logistics company UPS and delayed the arrival of Christmas presents around the globe."

"The updated warehouses are in five states -- California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey and Washington."

"Amazon estimated in June 2013 that it would spend about $46 million to install Kiva robots at its warehouse in Ruskin, Florida, including $26.1 million for the equipment,"

"allowed Amazon to hold about 50 percent more items and shorten the time it takes to offer same-day delivery in several areas, said Dave Clark, senior vice president of worldwide operations and customer services."

"shelves carried by more than 1,500 Kiva robots, which use markings on the floor to navigate and form a "big block of inventory," Clark said."

"eliminates the need for workers to navigate aisles to collect items ordered by consumers."

"a worker calls for specific items and the robot steers itself to their particular work station."

"Each robot can carry as much as 720 pounds."

"the robots have allowed Amazon to get packages out the door in as little as 13 minutes from the pick stations, compared to about an hour and a half on average in older centers."

"

"It's certainly proving out that it's justified itself," Clark said of the Kiva acquisition. "We're happy with the economics of it."

Ryder Rohrbach: Amazon Kiva #4

Watch the Robots Shipping Your Amazon Order This Holiday | TIME

"
"

"they're some of the most advanced robots that e-commerce giant Amazon now uses to ship its goods."

"The robots are made by Kiva Systems, a company Amazon purchased for $775 million in 2012 to better handle the hundreds of worldwide orders Amazon customers make every second."

"bring shelves of goods out of storage and carry them to employees, allowing Amazon to retrieve more items for more customers simultaneously"

"began using these robots in July of this year"

"more than 15,000 of them in 10 of the company's warehouses. They whir around like gears on a Swiss watch."

"may seem like a lot to sink into a retrieving system,"

"Amazon's profits depend on the company becoming ever more efficient at shipping orders."

"growing faster than the company's sales are."

"$8.6 billion in 2013 on fulfillment, a 34% increase from the year before;"

"total sales grew 22% in the same period."

"spend a sum about as large as the entire economy of Mongolia just to push its packages."

"(Amazon as a whole lost $437 million last quarter, as the company reinvests income into its own growth.)"

"Amazon Senior Vice President of Operations Dave Clark says improvements such as the Kiva robots have significantly increased operations efficiency while making employees' lives easier."

"criticized for the conditions in its fulfillment centers,"

"workers often logging over 10 hours a day and walking up to 15 miles"

" Conditions at a Pennsylvania warehouse drew attention to Amazon's employment practices during the summer of 2011,"

"employees regularly collapsed with heatstroke."

"installed air-conditioners in its warehouses."

"The Kiva robots cut out much of the hard "picking" work and bring items directly to workers,"

"

"[Kiva] eliminates the part that was not a fun part about picking," Clark says.

"

"Customers ordered 426 items per second on the Monday following Thanksgiving last year,"

"the robots are "not about eliminating jobs.""

"more people have been hired to join her team since the Kiva robots were installed, because more robots mean more work."

"About 80,000 workers are expected to come on board as temporary help for the holidays this year."

" others will ask a robot to do it for them."
